Logic Gates

Digital or electronic or any digital circuit composed of the so-called logic gates. Logic gates perform the logic operations on one or more inputs and produces a single output. The resulting output is the result of a series of logic operations based on the principles of Boolean algebra. In electronic terms, the input and output is realized and the voltage or current (depending on the type of electronics used).
Each logic gate requires power to be used as a source and place of the exhaust stream to obtain the appropriate voltage. In the logic circuit diagram, power is usually not included.
In its application, logic gates are the constituent blocks of electronic hardware. Logic gate is built using transistors. How many transistors are needed, depending on the form of logic gates. Forming the basis of a logic gate is a truth table (truth table). There are three basic forms of the truth table of AND, OR, and NOT. Here are the tables and forms of logic gates.

- The AND, if there are two inputs A and B then output or signal is generated only if A = 1 and B = 1.
- In the OR, if there are two inputs A and B or the output signal will be generated if one or both inputs are worth 1
- At the NOT, if there is one input has a certain value then the operation will NOT produce output / signal which is the opposite of its input value.
Apart form the basis of the above, some form of which is derived from the basic shape is also important to know. Figure 3.6. tabular display of truth and logic gates NAND, NOR, and XOR. NAND is the operating result + AND NOT, NOR OR + NOT is operating while the XOR is exclusive OR. NAND and NOR logic gate is a form that is used to build a lot of digital electronic devices.
